Short Family Devotions for Easter

March 10, 2020

Will your family be gathering together this Easter? Perhaps you will attend a special service at your church or enjoy a formal meal around the table.

Whatever Easter looks like in your family, the holiday can serve as a meaningful reminder of the hope we have as believers: we have been given salvation through the death and resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ.

As you gather this Easter, here are a few short devotions to help you reflect on this miraculous gift:

Christ is Risen
The resurrection is God's way of announcing that our life does not have to be a one-way journey to the cemetery.

Impossible
The joyous news of Easter is that death could not contain Jesus and cannot keep its hold on believers either.

Peace
Jesus gave the disciples the peace and presence they had been missing. And they were overjoyed.

He is Risen Indeed
The whole message of the gospel can be summed up in these few words: “Jesus is risen!”

A Day Like No Other
Because Jesus is risen, life for us is forever anchored in good news.
